WHO TO CALL IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN

 

 

All breakdowns must be reported promptly to the Dealer from whom you received this Agreement or if you have moved or are traveling out of town:

Please refer to the attached Claim Procedures and Instructions for complete details.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN

 

If you experience a breakdown you agree to:

 

· Use all reasonable means to protect your vehicle from further damage.

 

· Notify us as soon as possible if you are over 150 miles from the dealership from whom you purchased your vehicle.

 

· Authorize the repair facility to perform necessary diagnostic work and provide “teardown authorization” so that the repair facility can provide an accurate diagnosis and estimate of repairs.  IMPORTANT:  THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT PAY FOR DIAGNOSIS CHARGES FOR REPAIRS NOT COVERED.

 

· Furnish us with such information as we may reasonably require and if requested provide proof of your vehicle’s regular maintenance during the Agreement Period as recommended by the manufacturer in the Owner’s Manual.

 

· Reserve us the right to refer the vehicle to a dealership that sells and services your type of vehicle, for certain repairs.

 

· Allow us to examine your vehicle if we ask to do so.

 

· Obtain authorization from NWAN prior to beginning any repairs covered by this Agreement when repairs are to be performed by a repairer other than the dealer from whom you purchased this Agreement (the vehicle is only eligible for a repair at another repair facility when a breakdown occurs over 150 miles away from the issuing dealer).

 

· If you have a breakdown on a weekend or holiday, please call the following business day to receive further instructions.  Customer service hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday.  The repair facility may also submit a claim online at www.nwan.com.
